I saw a kooky article somewhere saying a woman with implants stopped a bullet.How possible is that? Also saw an article saying a guy weighing 300 Lbs stop a bullet with fat flap. Are these people just lucky?
the article author must of confused air rifle pellet with firearm bullets. even the lowly .22short cartridge can shoot a bullet thru about 5 inches of flesh at 50 yards.
the other possibly that the bullet was stray bullet, something like someone fired far, far away and the bullet basically fell out of the sky and due to the extreme range the bullet no longer had the power to penetrate a persons' fat flap. if this was .22LR round,you're looking at maybe a range of 1500 yards to a mile. if this was a 9mm Luger (popular handgun caliber) out of handgun maybe well in access of 1000 yards.
