What is the largest coil spring spacer you can put on a dodge ram with the stock shocks?
I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 2wd, what is the largest spring spacer I can use on the front without having to get new shocks, and whats the average cost to have it done??
i own a 01 with 2 inch on it also and i went to a bigger shock because thought it would bottom the shock out but it wont,you can use 3 in on it and still use the stock shock,it just lifts it more,that's all it does,one thing i did notice though was it rode a lot better with spacers on it,you wont get that thumping noise either that you often hear when you hit a bump with it,you can do it yourself for less than 80 bucks,but be sure and have the front end alignment checked because it will throw it out of alignment,good luck.
